This policy explains how CleanAir Munster (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use this website, including the Instant Quote form and the contact form. We are committed to handling your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018.

Who we are

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through our forms:

• Instant Quote form: your name, phone number, email address, town or county, an optional message, and the details of the estimate you created (selected unit, pipe length, price breakdown and estimated total).
• Contact form: your name, phone number, email address, town or county (optional) and your message.
• Consent record: confirmation that you ticked the privacy consent box, and the page the form was sent from.
• Emails and calls: if you email or phone us, we keep the details you give us so we can respond.

The calculator itself works in your browser. Nothing you select in it is sent to us unless you submit the Request this quote form.

Why we use your data and our legal basis

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and arrange a free site survey. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• To carry out and support an installation if you go ahead. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• To keep records we are required to keep, for example for tax and accounting. Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
• To protect our forms from spam and misuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Who we share it with

We only share personal data with service providers who help us run the business and this website, such as our website hosting provider and email provider. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes. We may also share data where the law requires it.

Where your data is stored

Form submissions are sent to our business email inbox and a copy is stored in this website’s database. If any provider stores data outside the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by GDPR.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quote details only for as long as we need them to deal with your request. If you become a customer, we keep the records we need for the installation and for as long as the law requires (for example, tax records). When data is no longer needed, we delete it securely.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct inaccurate data;
• ask us to delete your data;
• ask us to restrict or object to how we use it;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email info@cleanairmunster.ie. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) at www.dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress may set strictly necessary cookies, for example for site administrators when they log in. The forms do not set tracking cookies.

Security

The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and access to form submissions is limited to CleanAir Munster.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
